French anti-terror prosecutor probes into Tunisian national killing

France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office is considering whether the killing of a Tunisian national in the European nation was a racially-driven attack related to a terrorist operation, Middle East Monitor via Reuters reported on June 3rd.

The Tunisian national has not been formally identified but is believed to be roughly 35. On May 31st, the national was shot dead by a neighbour in Puget-sur-Argens, south France, according to the local prosecutor. A Turkish national of 25 years was also shot in the hand and admitted to hospital.

On June 2nd, the prosecutor’s office told Reuters that racially-driven assassination, is among the charges it is investigating.
