Saudi Arabia calls Israel extremist after West bank trip is stopped

Israel has been accused of extremism by Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud, after it stopped a group of foreign ministers from going to the occupied West Bank, Middle East Eye via Reuters reported on June 2nd.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE and Qatar had anticipated that they would be sending ministers to meet with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of Palestine, on June 1st in Ramallah.

But the trip was called off after Israel’s authorities said on May 30th that they would not allow the entry of the ministers.
