Convicted terrorist charged for the killing of Jordanian pilot

A convicted terrorist has been charged on May 27th over the killing of a Jordanian pilot who was burned to death in Syria ten years ago, the BBC via Reuters reported.

The 32-year-old Swedish citizen, Osama Krayem, was charged with terrorism and war crimes in relation to the killing of Moaz al-Kasasbeh. At present, Krayem is in jail after he was convicted for his involvement in the 2015 attacks in Paris and the 2016 attacks in Brussels.

The BBC reached out for a comment from his lawyer in relation to the most recent accusations. Krayem’s trial is set to take place on June 4th.
