At least 33 killed in Israeli strike on Gaza school

An Israeli strike at dawn on May 26th caused 33 deaths at a school in Gaza City, following Spain’s call for the war on the enclave to end on May 25th, according to France 24 with AFP and AP.

Over 55 people suffered wounds as a result of the strike on the north Gaza school, according to the head of the Gaza health ministry’s emergency service, Fahmy Awad. A father and his five children were among those killed, according to Awad.

On May 25th, Spanish foreign minister, Jose Manuel Albares, urged for sanctions to be imposed on Syria.
