Clashes took place between two armed groups on May 14th in Tripoli, the capital of Libya, despite the fact that authorities declared a ceasefire on May 13th, according to France 24 and AFP.
According to a security official, the clashes intensified between the Radaa force and the 444 Brigade in major parts of Tripoli, such as the port.
The clashes softened near the end of May 14th, TV reports and residents said. Some bakeries opened, however schools stayed closed. On May 13th, the government based in the city declared the cessation of fighting in the capital, with Turkey calling for the ceasefire.
