Israel not included in ceasefire deal between Houthis and US

A ceasefire deal between the US and Yemen’s Houthis does not include sparing Israel from military activity, according to the Houthis, implying that maritime strikes that affected international trade will not entirely stop, Middle East Eye via Reuters reported on May 7th.
“The agreement does not include Israel in any way, shape or form,” the top Houthis negotiator, Mohammed Abdulsalam, said to Reuters.
On May 6th, US President Donald Trump declared that his country will no longer Bomb Yemen’s Houthis targets, explaining that the group said they would no longer disrupt the Middle East’s vital maritime routes.
