India carries out strikes on Pakistan, prompting retaliation

India has said that it has launched strikes on terrorist sites in Pakistan, which has caused Pakistan to retaliate by attacking Indian warplanes, Middle East Eye via Reuters reported on May 6th.
The attack follows tension between the two nations, as India previously pointed the finger at Pakistan over a lethal attack in India-run Kashmir.
At least three Pakistani’s were reportedly killed due to the strikes, while 12 experienced injuries. The strikes hit Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad. Khawaja Asif, the Pakistani defence minister said to Reuters that his country hit two Indian warplanes and a drone, in a retaliatory attack.
