Palestinian residents from the Asira al-Qibliya village, which is south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, were attacked by Israeli settlers, Middle East Eye via Wafa news agency reported on May 1st.

The settlers who were together with the Israeli military targeted Palestinians from the west of Asira al-Qibliya, according to Hafez Saleh, who leads the Asira al-Qibliya Village Council. There are no injuries recorded as of yet, but witnesses heard gunfire.

Within the occupied West Bank, Israeli settler attacks have accelerated, with residents in rural areas facing threats to their safety, land, and wealth on a daily basis.
