Mosque attack victim’s family want case to be considered terrorism

The family of 22-year-old man who was stabbed to death in a Mosque in southern France’s Gard region has called for the attack to be treated as terrorism, Africanews reported on May 2nd.
The authorities of France have classified the cause of his death as aggravated murder, but the family of the late victim, Aboubakar Cissé, wants the incident to be considered a terrorist attack.
The family has said that in the killing of Cisse in a mosque, the assailant went there with the intention to intimidate and terrorise. The lawyers of the family were due to file a complaint to the judicial court of Paris.
