Amnesty International has raised the alarm on the decline of international human rights, as armed conflicts continue to create a humanitarian crisis, Africanews reported on April 29th.

The report, called ‘The State of the World’s Human Rights,” said that while the armed conflicts in Africa have brought turmoil to civilians, such as sexual and gender-driven violence as well as widespread deaths, global and regional intervention has not been sufficient, in which civilians have been left disappointed with the degree of care they received.

The report also shed light on the cost-of-living crisis which has worsened as the cost of food, fuel, and other essential resources has soared.
