UK police criticised for conduct at Gaza media coverage protest

London’s Met Police have faced allegations of being too forceful in their conduct after three people were reportedly violently arrested for demonstrating outside the BBC, over the media company’s coverage of the Gaza conflict, Middle East Eye reported on April 16th.
A demonstrator said to Middle East Eye that he was continuously punched by the police on April 15th, after officers tried to conduct an arrest.
Rajiv Sinha, director of Hindus for Human Rights UK, said: “The way the police acted was so violent. I’ve never seen this level of brutality towards protesters before.”
