Deaths of journalists in Gaza reaches 209 following Israeli strike

The amount of journalists killed in the conflict in Gaza has reached 209, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza, after the death of Palestinian journalist Mohammed al-Bardawil, Middle East Eye reported on April 1st.
Al-Bardawil, his wife and three children died, when an Israeli airstrike struck their home, located in the west of Khan Yunis, in Gaza’s south.
In Gaza, journalists have been intensely targeted since the start of the war, with whole families being killed in what media rights groups have referred to as an unparalleled attack on the freedom of the press.
