US President Donald Trump withdrew his nomination for pro-Israel Congresswoman Elise Stefanik to become the UN ambassador, Al-Monitor via Reuters reported on March 27th.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump mentioned that he asked Stefanik to stay in congress, due to his party’s “very tight Majority.”

Trump said: “I have asked Elise, as one of my biggest Allies, to remain in Congress to help me deliver Historic Tax Cuts, GREAT Jobs, Record Economic Growth, a Secure Border, Energy Dominance, Peace Through Strength, and much more, so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

Trump has also said that he would not be willing to “take a chance” on another person running for Stefanik’s seat, but said that in the future she might be a part of the administration.
