Seven students from the London School of Economics (LSE) who were banned from campus after taking part in a pro-Palestine protest are continuing to uphold a claim, in which they believe the university has failed to respect their basic human rights, Middle East Eye reported on March 27th.

The students had been barred after a protest on July 7th last year which urged the university to divest from companies which are implicated in human rights abuses of the Palestinian people.

This was reportedly in line with a student referendum that passed with support from 89%, who are pro-divestment.
