Israeli airstrikes targeted Syria’s coastal province of Tartus, The New Arab reported on March 27th. The attack reportedly hit multiple sites, causing material damage, though no casualities were immediately confirmed.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the raids targeted “munitions depots” at the port, located on the northern outskirts of Latakia city. The strikes marked the latest in a series of Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.

Damascus accused Israel of violating Syrian sovereignty, calling for international condemnation.  Tensions remain high as Israel continues to target what it claims are Iranian-linked assets in Syria.
