Far-right welcomed by Israel during antisemitism conference

Far-right politicians from Europe have been welcomed by Israel at an antisemitism conference, the Middle East Eye via AFP reported on March 27th.
The people invited to the symposium include a member of Hungary’s Fidesz party and France’s National Rally (RN), whose co-founder has made antisemitic remarks.
During the conference, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar spoke of a “new antisemitism” driven by “a disturbing alliance between the radical progressives on the far-left and Islamist fundamentalism”.
Saar added: “In the name of so-called ‘human rights’, the progressive movement fell captive to those seeking the destruction of the Jewish people.”
