Moroccan official urges for regulation of freedom of expression

Morocco’s National Human Rights Council’s (CNDH) president urged on March 24th for the creation of procedures to regulate and keep track of freedom of expression in the digital sphere, to protect other essential rights and freedoms, the Middle East Monitor via Anadolu reported.
In a meeting in London with British parliamentarians, Amina Bouayach made the comment.
The CNDH said that Bouayach emphasised the significance of freedom of expression in an online context, alongside the need to look for new solutions that secure the right to freedom of expression in the digital arena, whilst protecting other rights on a national and international scale.
