Hundreds of Palestinians protest against Hamas
In northern Gaza on March 25th hundreds of Palestinians took part in a protest, chanting slogans against Hamas and urging for the war with Israel to end, according to witnesses, The Arab Weekly via Reuters reported.
The protestors, which were mostly male, shouted “Hamas out” and “Hamas terrorists” in Beit Lahia, where the protestors had gathered following Israel’s resumption of accelerated bombing in Gaza, after almost two months of a truce.
On Telegram, the social media network, at least one appeal to protest had spread around on March 25th.
A protestor known as Majdi had said: “If Hamas leaving power in Gaza is the solution, why doesn’t Hamas give up power to protect the people?”
