Israel’s military intensified ground operations in Gaza following intercepted missile fire from Yemen and Hamas rockets targeting Tel Aviv, Al-Monitor reported on March 20th.

A temporary ceasefire that began on January 19th fell apart after negotiations failed, triggering heavy bombardment.

Israeli forces targeted Rafah’s Shabura district, dismantling militant infrastructure and blocking Gaza’s primary north-south corridor, more than 504 civilians in Gaza—including 190 children—have been killed.

Hamas launched rockets in response to what it called civilian massacres, while Israel intercepted another missile originating from Yemen.
