French scientist denied US entry over views on Trump administration

The US has proceeded with its clampdown on foreign nationals travelling to the country, with a French scientist denied entry in Texas and expelled on March 10th for his opinions on the policies of the Trump administration, the Middle East Eye reported.
The scientist works for France’s National Centre for Scientific Research and was heading to a conference near Houston when border officials reportedly stopped him.
Authorities in the US did not give entry to the scientist and then expelled him because his phone had messages in which he conveyed his view on the Trump administration’s policies for science.
