The UK has said it will implement its diplomatic power to re-establish the Gaza ceasefire “as soon as possible” after Israel killed over 300 Palestinians with no warning, bringing an end to its ceasefire with Hamas, the Middle East Eye reported on March 18th.

The attack which targeted Palestinians who were displaced due to the conflict was one of the most violent attacks on the Gaza Strip since the war started.

Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Pat McFadden, said to Sky News that the Labour government would “use the diplomatic influence we have to try to get that ceasefire restored as soon as possible”.
