Over 1000 Syrians died in an airport prison, report says

Over 1000 Syrians died when they were detained in a military airport within the outskirts of Damascus, killed by torture, poor treatment or execution, a report has said, with deaths being tracked down to seven suspected burial sites, The New Arab via Reuters reported on February 27th.
According to the report, shared exclusively with Reuters, the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre said it found the grave sites through the use of witness information, satellite imagery and documents photographed at the airport in Mezzeh, a Damascus suburb, following the fall from power of Bashar al-Assad.
Some of the sites were on the grounds of the airport but others were in Damascus.
