Israel ramps up military operations in the West Bank

Israel has ramped up its military operations in the occupied West Bank following the explosion of three parked buses in Bat Yam, which is close to Tel Aviv, without causing casualties, The New Arab reported on February 21st.

The intensification of operations was ordered by Defence Minister Israel Katz, targeting refugee camps, especially in Tulkarm as Israeli forces remain in the area.

Taking place on the night of February 20th, the explosions saw the detonation of three empty buses, with further explosive devices found on other vehicles. Israeli’s military campaign has extensively destroyed Tulkarm camp’s infrastructure.
