Yemeni minister urges arrest of Houthi officials

Yemeni Information Minister Moammar al-Eryani on February 19th called for the arrest of several leaders from Yemen’s Houthis who would be going to Lebanese Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral in Lebanon’s Beirut, The New Arab via Reuters reported.

Serving as Hezbollah’s secretary-general for over three decades, Nasrallah was killed on September 27th as Israel accelerated its attacks on the south of Lebanon.

Nasrallah’s funeral is set to take place on February 23rd. The Houthis did not officially say that a delegation would attend the funeral, however the Houthi-led Al-Masirah TV said that a Yemeni delegation would be participating.
