A Syriac-speaking community in Sweden is grieving the death of a victim to a mass shooting after it was revealed that an Aleppo refugee was among the ten people killed in an adult education centre, located in Orebro, The National reported on February 7th.
On February 4th, Salim Iskef was among the people shot dead by a Swedish gunman, who had no direct motive for his attack.
Another speaker of the Syriac language was among the people injured and Syria’s embassy in Sweden said at least two of the victims originated from Syria. The police has not yet disclosed the names of all the people who were killed.
