Aga Khan to be buried in Egypt

The late prince Karim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV who passed away on February 4th in Lisbon, following almost 70 years of being the spiritual leader of the international Ismaili Muslim community will be buried in Egypt on February 9th, the Ismaili Imamat said, The New Arab via Reuters reported on February 7th.
Following the funeral ceremony at the Ismaili Centre in Lisbon on February 8th, which will be attended by community leaders, Portuguese government members and foreign dignitaries, Aga Khan will be buried at a private ceremony in Aswan, Egypt on February 9th.
Khan, known for his wealth and development work across the world through the Aga Khan Development Network, passed away in Lisbon, which is the seat of the Ismaili Imamat when he was 88 on February 4th.
