Attack in Israeli-occupied West Bank injures six

A shooting attack at a checkpoint in the Israeli-occupied West Bank on the early morning of February 4th has injured at least six people, according to the Israeli military and area hospitals, Asharq Al-Awsat via The Associated Press reported.

According to the Israeli military, an attacker fired at soldiers in a checkpoint in the Tayasir village, which is in the north of the West Bank. In an exchange, the soldiers fired at the attacker who was consequently killed, the military said.

Israeli hospitals said they had received six people who had experienced injuries during the shooting attack.
