Arab ministers oppose displacing Palestinians from Gaza

In a joint letter addressed to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, five Arab foreign ministers and a senior Palestinian official opposed plans to remove Palestinians from Gaza, a suggestion of Donald Trump’s late last month, The Arab Weekly via Reuters reported on February 4th.

The letter was signed by the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, as well as Palestinian presidential adviser Hussein al-Sheikh. It was sent on February 3rd.

It was reported firstly by Axios, which said the leading diplomats met with each in Cairo during the weekend.
