Car bomb explosion kills at least 15 in Syria

A car bomb explosion in the outskirts of a northern Syrian city has killed at least 15 people and left dozens wounded, according to local civil defense and a war monitor, Asharq Al-Awsat via Reuters reported on February 3rd.

On the outskirts of Manbij, a car exploded beside a vehicle which agricultural workers were sat in, causing the deaths of 14 women and a man, local civil defense have said. A further 15 women were wounded, with some in critical condition.

But the UK-based war monitor, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said 18 women were killed alongside a man.
