Turks trying to cross Lebanon-Israel border killed by strike

Three Turkish nationals were killed by an Israeli strike as they attempted to cross from Lebanon to Israel, Ankara confirmed on January 29th but did not provide reasons for why they tried to cross the border, The New Arab via Reuters reported.

The news was first reported by Lebanese media and was later confirmed by the foreign ministry of Turkey.

In a statement, the ministry said: “We condemn in the strongest terms this unlawful attack that resulted in the death of our citizens.” The ministry did not say when the incident happened in its statement.
