Gazans to return home following planned hostage releases

Israel has said that Palestinians could start going back to the north of the Gaza strip, after a deal was made with Hamas for the release of a further six hostages, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has said, Asharq Al-Awsat reported on January 27th.
The move sustains a fragile ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas, which has brought destruction to the Gaza strip and displaced almost all its residents, laying the foundations for further exchanges of hostages and prisoners under a deal which intends to stop the conflict, which has gone on for over 15 months.
Israel had reportedly been stopping large crowds of Palestinians from using a costal road to enter northern Gaza, claiming that Hamas has breached the truce agreement by not freeing civilian women hostages.
