Hamas poised to release next set of hostages

Hamas said on January 20th that it would next be freeing hostages held in Gaza on January 25th, after an official with the group said they would be freed a day later than anticipated, The New Arab via Reuters reported.
Hamas is due to free over 90 hostages in the coming weeks following a ceasefire deal which was made with Israel, which could bring the 15-month war to a halt.
Hamas said in a statement that the next set of hostages would be freed on January 25th in return for Palestinian prisoners and detainees who have been kept in Israel.
