Israeli airstrikes in Gaza kill at least 14 Palestinians

Several Israeli airstrikes killed at least 14 Palestinians on January 13th, as the attacks targeted various areas across the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian medics, Asharq Al-Awsat reports.
The Palestinian health ministry’s emergency services said that at least seven Palestinians were killed when an Israeli airstrike hit the Daraj neighbourhood in Gaza City. Among the seven killed were two children.
One of the strikes targeted Salaheddin school which is located in the western part of Gaza city and shelters displaced Palestinians. According to the Al-Ahly hospital, a family of 5 were killed in the strike, including two parents and their three children.

Two more Palestinians were killed in Jabaliya al-Balad area in northern Gaza and five more were injured in the same attack, according to the ministry’s emergency services.
The Israeli military did not immediately address the strikes on civilian populated areas, but continue to put forward their claim that it is the fault of Hamas for operating in residential locations.
Israel’s brutal war and bombardment of Gaza has killed more than 46,000 people since October 7th 2023, most of whom women and children, according to the Palestinian health ministry, reports Al Jazeera.
