70 Palestinians killed by Israeli attack in Gaza

Around 70 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza by the Israeli army during the past 24 hours and 104 have been wounded, as the UN raised new concerns that the hunger crisis in Gaza is being exacerbated by Israel blocking emergency aid, The New Arab reported on January 10th.

The death toll from January 9th included women and children as well as others who are stuck under the rubble, as civil defense teams are struggling to recover their bodies, the Palestinian ministry of health reports.

Overnight, at least one Palestinian was killed and two mothers were wounded to the west of Khan Younis due to Israeli air strikes.
