Israeli airstrikes have killed 36 people and wounded more than 50 others in an attack on Syria’s historic city of Palmyra in the province of Homs on November 20th, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
The strikes hit residential buildings and an industrial zone at around 1:30pm in the al-Tanf area of Palmyra, causing significant damage to targeted buildings and the surrounding area, state media said.
The Israeli military declined to comment.
Last week, Israel said it struck supply routes on the Syrian-Lebanese border which were being used to transfer weapons to Hezbollah.
