Israeli minister to meet Blinken as Gaza deadline looms
Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer will meet with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on November 11th in Washington, according to the Arab News via Reuters.
The meeting comes as a deadline set by the US for Israel to improve Gaza’s humanitarian situation nears.
The US said on an October 13th letter that Israel had 30 day to address the situation in Gaza, where Israel’s actions have lead to mass displacement and hunger along with accusations of genocide. The letter, as reported by Reuters, stated that if Israel did not change course than the US could halt military aid to Israel.
