Gaza’s civil defence agency said on November 9th that 14 Palestinians including women and children had been killed by Israeli air strikes in Gaza overnight, according to the Arab News via AFP

Civil defence spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP nine were killed including women and children when an air strike hit tents housing displaced Palestinians in the southern area of Khan Yunis.

The toll was confirmed by the Palestinian Red Crescent, saying 11 others were wounded in the strike and were taken to Nasser Hospital.

Five people including children were killed and 22 injured when “Israeli warplanes hit Fahad Al-Sabah school,” which had become a shelter for “thousands of displaced people” in Gaza City’s Al-Tuffah district, Bassal said. He added that the dead and wounded were taken to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.
