Nearly 70% of Gaza fatalities women and children
A new UN report states that 70% of casualties in Israel’s war in Gaza are women and children, according to the Arab News.
The UN Human Rights Office says the information indicates “a systematic violation of the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law, including distinction and proportionality.”
The continuation of these attacks “demonstrates an apparent indifference to the death of civilians and the impact of the means and methods of warfare selected,” the report states.
