Israeli strikes kill at least 11 people in northern Gaza
Israeli strikes have killed at least 11 people in northern Gaza said Palestinian medical officials on November 6th.
According to Asharq Al-Awsat plus agencies a strike hit a house in the northern town of Beit Lahia, killing at least six people from the same family.
The dead include a mother and her three children, as well as the children’s grandmother and uncle, according to the Gaza Health Ministry’s emergency service.
Meanwhile, in the urban refugee camp of Jabalia, al-Awda Hospital said it received the bodies of five men killed in an Israeli strike.
The Israeli military did not comment on these particular strikes but maintains it only targets fighters and tries to avoid harming civilians.

The strikes comes after US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said on November 4th that Israel had made insufficient efforts to provide aid to Gaza.
According to Levantis.me, Miller stated that although Israel had taken measures to increase aid access, it had failed to significantly transform the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The Biden administration told Israel on October 13th that it had 30 days to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Miller said: “As of today, the situation has not significantly turned around. We have seen an increase in some measurements.”
“We’ve seen an increase in the number of crossings that are open. But just if you look at the stipulated recommendations in the letter, those have not been met.”
Results so far, he said, were “not good enough” but stressed that the 30-day period had not yet finished.
He declined to say what consequences Israel would face if it failed to meet expectations.
“What I can tell you that we will do is we will follow the law,” he said.
