Erdogan urges Turkic unity over Palestinian issue
Turkish President Erdogan called for unity among Turkic nations to support a just resolution to the Palestinian issue on November 4th, according to AA.
The comments were made at the sixth meeting of the Türkiye-Kyrgyzstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek.
In his address, Erdogan said: “As the Turkic world, it is extremely important that we continue our efforts for a lasting and just solution to the Palestinian issue.”
“Israel’s attacks on Lebanon now threaten regional security and the international order.”
On November 4th, he was welcomed to Kyrgyzstan ahead of the 11th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States due to be held on November 5th and 6th.
While Israel’s war in Gaza and Lebanon continues, many states, including Türkiye, have called for implementation of the two-state solution to achieve enduring peace.
