Israeli strikes killed one soldier, wound seven, says Syria

Israeli strikes in Syria on October 24th killed a soldier and injured seven, the Syrian defence ministry said according to the Arab News via Reuters.
The attacks targeted the central Damascus neighbourhood of Kafr Sousa and a military site near the city of Homs, the ministry stated, adding that “material damage” was caused by the strikes.
Syrian state media had said earlier in the day that explosion had been heard in Damascus following an Israeli strike on a residential building in Kafr Sousa. Israel tends not to comment on specific reports of strikes within Syria.
