“250 Hezbollah members killed” says Israel

The Israeli military claims to have killed about 250 Hezbollah members since September 30th, according to Asharq Al-Awsat and agencies on October 4th.
Hezbollah’s intelligence centre in southern Beirut was targeted during the night of October 3rd by airstrikes, however, Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani stated to be still evaluating the damage provoked by the Israeli military.

Moreover, Hezbollah official Hashem Saffieddine, was reportedly the target of Israeli airstrikes, according to Axios reporter Barak Ravid. However, his death has not yet been confirmed.
Saffieddine is the rumoured successor to Hezbollah’s late leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated by Israeli forces.
“Nasrallah was one of the greatest enemies of the State of Israel of all time… his elimination makes the world a safer place,” had claimed military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari upon the leader’s death, “We continue, even at this very moment, to strike, eliminate and kill the commanders of the Hezbollah organization, and we will continue to do so.”
