Turkey working with 20 countries on Lebanon evacuations
Turkey is ready to evacuate Turks from Lebanon via both air and sea, and is working with around 20 countries preparing for an evacuation of foreign nationals via Turkey, the Turkish foreign ministry said on October 1st according to the Arab News via Reuters.

It said that, following Israel’s ground invasion into Lebanon, the security conditions in the country could deteriorate, and that a coordination centre has been set up to deal with requests for evacuation, which is in keeping with plans from Turkish institutions.

“The guidelines for the evacuation of foreign nationals via our country have also been set, the necessary preparations are being carried out with around 20 countries that have requested support so far,” it said.
