Fatah commander hit by Israeli strike
Mounir Maqdah, Fatah commander, was victim of a targeted attack launched by Israel, according to Asharq Al-Awsat and agencies on October 1st.
The commander of the Lebanese branch of the Fatah movement’s military wing Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, has not yet been reported dead.
“The Israeli raid targeted the house of the son of Mounir Maqdah,” claimed a Palestinian camp official, however, it is not known whether Maqdah was there.
The camp hit by the attack, Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp, is the largest Palestinian camp in Lebanon.
Earlier this year, the Israeli army had killed another commander of the Fatah movement targeting the same refugee camp.
