Qatar says no formal mediation track on Lebanon ceasefire
There is not currently a formal mediation track working toward a ceasefire in Lebanon, Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari told a press briefing on September 26th following days of violence in Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah, according to the Arab News via Reuters.

He added that he was not aware of a “direct link” between the proposed 21-day ceasefire in Lebanon and a Gaza ceasefire proposal, which Qatar had worked extensively along with both Egypt and the United States.
