U.S. officials consider it unlikely that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza will be reached before President Joe Biden leaves office, as reported by the Wall Street Journal via Arab News on September 19th.

The article cited top-level officials in the White House, State Department, and Pentagon without naming them.

Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh, however, maintained, “I can tell you that we do not believe that deal is falling apart.”
