A new Israeli airstrike on September 16th kills 16 people in the Gaza Strip, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.  

The strike targeted the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

In addition to the 16 victims, amongst whom four women and two children, the Awda Hospital declared that another 13 were wounded.

On September 6th, another Israel strike had killed 27 civilians in the Strip during the resumption of polio vaccinations. 

The vaccination campaign had started on September 1st upon the agreement on a temporary ceasefire between the two parties, allowing 640,000 children to receive the first round of vaccination.

However, on September 11th yet another airstrike targeting Gaza hit a UN shelter and two homes killing at least 34 people
