Alleged Hezbollah financier expected to plead guilty in US case

Mohammad Bazzi, a dual Lebanese-Belgian citizen, was accused by the United States on September 5th of financing the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, reported the Middle East Online and agencies.

He is expected to plead guilty in a criminal case charging him with sanctions evasion and money-laundering conspiracies.

Last year, Bazzi pleaded not guilty to three felony charges, including attempting to conduct transactions with a sanctioned terrorist organization.
