Israel almost finished with Hamas operation in Gaza
Israel is very close to wrapping up its military operations in Gaza, according to a government insider in Jerusalem, who made the extraordinary claim during a live TV debate in London on August 7th.
“75% of Hamas are either killed or incapacitated” claims Israel government consultant in an in interview with The Muckrakers, hosted by Andrew Eborn with guests George Szamuely and Martin Jay.
Richard Pater, who runs a company called BICOM which works with the Israeli government and who briefs British officials and journalists on the situation in Gaza, made the startling statement during the show which is transmitted live by the Australian media company TNT Radio.
He also claimed, during the one hour discussion, which can be seen on youtube, that Netanyahu has not the popularity that many believe, saying that “50% of the population vehemently are against him” while also adding that a ceasefire deal between Hamas and the Israeli government was practically impossible due to ideological differences.
