France condemns Red Cross attack in war-torn Sudan
France condemned “in the strongest terms” an attack on the Red Cross in war-torn Sudan that killed two members of staff and three other individuals, according to Arab News and agencies on May 4.
France called on May 3 for “all parties to the conflict to respect their obligations under international humanitarian law”, demanding the protection of humanitarian staff.

It marks the latest tragedy in the Sudanese conflict so far, which has killed tens of thousands of people with millions forced to flee in the largest displacement crisis in the world.
